Tim’s Scribbles:14 January 2014 : Breathereflect

reflect on the effect
of your breathing permeating your body
breathe again
while you observe the chain reactions along your spine

as your focus sharpens
see your mind’s subtle slowing of motion
allow yourself to do it
dam up the extra movements
of the mind

notice the spacious edge
of dharana dip into dhyana
for a brief moment
forth and back, forth and back, forth and back

as you return to the sensations
of your body’s adaptions to your breathing
and as the next asana is coming up
steady your gaze to remain intact

try not to spill
your mind outside your body
try not to spill
your focus from monitoring the effects

of your inhale
and your exhale
and your inhale
and your exhale
