Glenn Ceresoli Interview

stu-and-glenn-ceresoli

While at the beautiful Satsanga Yoga Retreat in Goa India I was lucky to arrange a rare interview with senior Iyengar teacher Glenn Ceresoli. Glenn has been practicing and teaching for over 30 years and although based in Sydney Australia he spends a good amount of his time traveling around the world holding intensives, retreats and workshops. His depth of knowledge and experience allows him to guide students deeper into their practice and break through the restrictive habits and conditions of the body/mind.

In this interview we talk about the Iyengar approach to asana, breaking patterns, the right type of intention in the practice, what the asana practice can provide as well as in part 2 Glenn gives me some guidance in Janushishasana A as an example of how to work in a posture.

This was my first solo venture into video and so as expected I arsed it up by letting the camera turn itself off without me noticing. Hence there is a segment of the interview where there is only audio (live and learn hopefully). I have also provided the whole thing as just audio files for those on a slower connection. Please let me know if things like video or audio quality need improving, as your feedback will help me deliver better content in the future.

For those that just want to listen to the audio here are the files. You can play the file on the site by just clicking the play button on the player or save the file to play later by using the download link beneath each player.
