This is just such a hard posture in many ways. First you need a steady pinch mayurasana, then you have to be able to get your feet into padmasana without using your hands. Once you have that you have to lower down and stop on your arms before gravity plonks you on the floor. And if that is not enough you are meant to lift back up again to where you started.
